Before and After Care

Gembrook Preschool partners with OSHClub at the Gembrook Primary School to offer wrap-around care for children aged 4 and over who attend the preschool. This service provides both before and after care options on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, ensuring that families have access to flexible childcare support. On Wednesday mornings, second-year preschool children can attend a morning care service until their kinder session begins, offering additional support to families.

To facilitate this care, children are either transferred between Gembrook Preschool and OSHClub by bus or walked under the supervision of Gembrook Preschool educators. This ensures safe and reliable transitions, giving parents peace of mind that their children are always in the care of trusted staff during their commute.

This before and after service was introduced by the Committee of Management in response to feedback from the community and aims to support families who are enrolled in sessional kindergarten. By offering this flexible childcare option, Gembrook Preschool is making it easier for parents to balance their schedules while ensuring their children have access to high-quality preschool and wrap-around care throughout the week.
